Neptune Barman is a poet and author best known for his best-selling books The Diary of a Teenager (Notion Press, 2020) and The Life Behind the Bars (2021). His evocative verses have twice earned him a place in The Year of the Poet series by Inner Child Press, USA. Writing poetry since childhood, Neptune transforms moments of his life into heartfelt expressions that have touched thousands of readers and inspired several documentaries and short films.

A man of quiet reflection, he believes that while life happens only once, living it meaningfully makes once enough. Hailing from the serene town of Nalbari in Assam, he finds solace in travel and seeks to spread positivity through his words and actions.

Neptune holds a B.A. (Hons.) in English from the University of Delhi and an M.A. in English Literature from Sathyabama University. His writing continues to bridge emotion and experience, echoing the beauty of a life well lived and deeply felt.
