The Last Ride

On the bank of the brook that pass

through the heart of the forest so large

There lies my earthly body for the last

Holding me on shoulders from around

i am on the way to last ride of my life

No more i rise, no more i fall

looking around for my pride and wealth

i couldn`t but only find darkness around

Tried remembering the days of light

also tried recalling the nights of dark

This life was a journey after all

started on my mother`s lap with smiles

ended on the lap of earth with tears

earthly body of mine burnt to ashes of dust

so my pride and wealth too 

Lies there nothing of mine,  

I am gone, so you will too

but it`s just memories that lives

some haunts and some charms
